ACM Meeting III

March 25th, 6PM, MCS 135

Update 03/21:

Speaker: Rich West

Topic: Giant Killer Robots

The next ACM Meeting is in the works! Offered talks for the next meeting include:

  • Leo Reyzin's talk on internet culture and the ongoing struggle for copyright reform
  • Rich West's talk on robotics and how freaking awesome they are
  • Gabriel's talk on buffer-overflows (hopefully with a proof-of-concept of sorts, hm Gabriel?)
  • The usual rantings and musings from the ACM officers
    • This also will include updates about LAN parties and other fun events (not that projects aren't fun :P)

Other potential guests for future meetings:

Start voting on what you want to hear next, and we'll start inviting people!

I'd be interested to hear Reyzin speak as well. And of course, I'm all for the robots...

I would prefer the more practice oriented subjects such as robotics or buffer overflows over hearing about culture or legislation.
